About Our Family

Jon and I have been married for 21 years. We are so thankful God has given us this opportunity to adopt again.  In 2008, we adopted two little girls from Kazakhstan. Though not originally planning to have more children, as a whole family, we are elated with this new journey of adoption God has presented us.  It is beautiful to see the work the Holy Spirit has done in Sarah’s heart and mine and those of our children.   We consider it an honor, a privilege and a blessing to sacrifice a little so that these children might gain hope, a future and a family that will love them.

wow, it was so nice of you to bring the boys to Mrs. Caine’s english 6th period so we could see them. It is such a joy and what your family does is amazing. I hope I get to see them again and I think I speak for everyone at school when I say this they are perfect even though they have flaws. Those boys are meant for your family. Thank you

Hi! Just coming over after reading your comment on my blog. Wow, you have a beautiful family! 🙂 Your posts are very thought-provoking as well. I have read just the last few. I will go back and read some more when a certain little someone is asleep in awhile. 😉 I think I figured out that you adopted two boys after adopting two girls. Again, wow! I don’t think I could adopt 2 at one time again. It is hard as you know. But we do what God calls us to!

Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog.

You are still an amazing woman after God’s own heart…. Many years ago as a young wife, I knew The Lord would use you in mighty ways!

You are all amazing! Many years have passes since the time and space that we shared in Charlottesville. Our nest is recently emptied and the two of you are still adding to your flock. Life has been amazing and a blessing…all of our lives blesses by our children.
